Damn Good Tech is the pursuit of a dream: Living in harmony with the best technology man has ever invented. This is not always an easy pursuit. Unfortunately for the average human being, the road to Digital Nirvana is filled with false promises, traps and much sadness. There is simply so many crappy products and services being sold out there. Most people usually end up in a never ending nightmare of catching up with technological advances.

We wish to answer the simple question: what are the best tools that you can buy, today, to achieve Digital Bliss?

This saves you hours of reading review upon review, comparing specs and trying to make an at least semi rational decision on what to get. This saves you from having to navigate through the minefield of crop that is the modern consumer electronics market.

Only one product per category can ever be be the holder of the the Ultimate Damn Good Tech Award at any one time. This way you will always know which product at any given time is the ultimate choice. The award list is only updated twice a year at the most.
